I have been thinking about how I really need to be more diligent in posting on the blogs especially since I am far away from most of you (not really far away, but far enough to miss everybody). I also wanted you all to know how blessed I feel to be a part of this wonderful family. I wish everybody could be as lucky. This blessing was apparent Monday when Mom, Shirley, Cindy and Jackie went to the hospital to be there for Mike when he had his eye surgery. When I talked to him on the phone he said it wasn't necessary, but that he sure did appreciate it. I want them to know that I also appreciate that they went. It just shows that whenever anyone in the family needs anything, we will always be there.
Mike and I have been enjoying the mild weather here in Mesquite. We keep ourselves busy going to the gym and taking Missy for walks everyday, doing a little golfing, and taking out the RZR for short trips. Last weekend Mike's sister Louise and her husband Chuck came for the weekend and the weather actually cooperated so we could do a little golfing. It sure is fun to have company and I would like to invite any of you to come anytime!! Like Jacky mentioned, I am flying to SLC tomorrow to go with the Girls to celebrate Shirley's retirement. It's gonna be a great time and will also give us a chance to celebrate Jami and Kim's birthdays. Can't wait!!!
Hope everyone is doing well!! Love you all.

A snowmobiler's Lament
Good day all of you Wright stuff people! What a great family to belong to! I was thinking back to the good old day's when I snowmobiled every weekend with either Mike Henderson, Dennis Crocker, Or good old Grampa Wright. How awesome was that! I really miss Grampa, when the snow is piling up. Of course this year there has not been much snow. We have only had the sleds out 2 times! Maybe it will be a snowy spring! Oh well, enough crying over lack of snow. Jackie is going in for eye surgery on Tuesday the 6th of March. It seems like the wright family is in the eye surgery business lately. Well, Mike & Gayleen, move over in the 60 year old + status, because you will soon have a new member! I distinctly remember when my dad turned 60, & it was just yesterday! Oh well, except for an ocasional ache or pain, it is all good. Well work call's! Yeah, (some of us are not retired yet)! Got to go. Love you all, Mike # 4.

It's about time!
Hi family. . .
Yesterday when we were sitting at the hospital while Mike was having his eye surgery I was thinking about how much I LOVE my Family and thought I should tell you all. I thought about calling everyone but realized that even tho I am retired I just don't have the time to do that.
(Really there is too many of us and due to my age I would probably miss someone or call someone twice as I tend to forget things I have already done) so the BLOG was the best way to do it. . .
I really do thank my lucky stars that I have the family that I do . . . Starting with Mom and Dad & right on down to little Berklee who is currently the last one we have added to the family. I can"t think of anything that makes my Heart as Happy as being able to spend time with each of you or hearing about all of the things that you are doing. (Thanks heavens for coffee on Wednesdays & Fridays so we can keep up with what is going on with everyone. . )
I know that we do not get a chance to be all together very often but when we do it is always so much fun and I love it. It is those times that I look forward too and hope that we have lots more of them.
Just talked to Mike and he said that his appt with the eye doctor went really well this morning and that he is feeling great. . . Isn't it amazing that we live in a time of organ donation and that Mike was able to receive a cornea from someone and his vision in that eye has been restored. I hope that all of you are organ donors and if not you need to be!
I am looking forward to Shirley's retirement get-away on Thursday! I wish everyone could come with as we always have such a good time together. Thanks Gayleen for making arrangements to fly up and come with! For those of you that cannot come know that you'll be missed and hope that you can come with next time!
Mom and Shirley and I are going to go to Clayton's funeral tomorrow. I can just imagine the reunion that Dad and Clayton are having right now and wouldn't be surprised if they have not already been fishing!
I had better get busy and get my house cleaned as I didn't get much done yesterday and Mondays are usually the day that I do my cleaning.
I love you all tons and hope that you have a good week!

Hello Wright Family-
My mom has been bugging me to put some pictures on the blog and I figured I had better get it done while she is here. She can watch my kids while I make a post :) We are doing good in South Dakota. We are still waiting for our first big snowstorm of the season. We have not had enough snow to make a snowman yet and it is killing Mark and Lily. Berklee is doing really good. She is now 2 months old and is a great baby. She loves Grandma Braegger and is going to have a very difficult time adjusting once she has gone home. SAD!!! Mark is finishing up the season within the next few weeks. He is going to Costa Rica at the end of the month for 10 days with the team. Since he is going there Lily and I have tickets to go to Disney on Ice. I am so LUCKY!! Of course, it will probably snow then and he will miss out on the SNOWMAN :) Double LUCKY for me!! Well I have put a few pictures up and we hope all is well with everyone.
Love you guys!!

Happy Birthday Brett!!
Hello All! Well, today is Brett's 39th birthday (next year will be the big 40). Wow, that makes me feel old. Not sure what he has planned for tonight for his Birthday - but we will be celebrating at the Harding House on Feb 12th (our monthly birthday bash). We had a little bit of snow this morning - but if the rest of the winter is like this, I think I can handle it. It makes a big difference that I don't have to drive to work in the weather anymore or in the dark. Retirement is wonderful!!! I received a phone call from Gayleen last night and she will be flying into Salt Lake to make the traditional "Girls Only - Wendover Retirement Pary" on March 1st. I am excited and hope that we will have tons of fun!! Hoping all of you are having a great day. Love you all - Shirley
